Which way should I choose?

An interval is the difference between two pitches. An interval may be described as horizontal, linear, or melodic if it refers to successively sounding tones, such as two adjacent pitches in a melody, and vertical or harmonic. You can listen to the tasks in two ways - in a harmonic (two notes are played at the same time) and melodic (two notes are played separately in time, one after the other). Usually beginners choose the melodic. But the harmonic way is most often used. So if you are quite experienced, choose the harmonic way.

Picking the topic

Before starting the training, pick the section you want to practice: Scales (different types of Major and Minor scales) or Diatonic Modes (for high school learners).

Which way should I choose?

Since some types of seventh chords can be identified by ear only by resolution to another chord, if you select the "Without resolution" option, only a half-diminished seventh chord and diminished seventh chord in the main form will be offered.

When selecting the resolution options, you can listen to the calls of the reduced intro chord. Half-diminished seventh chord in this case is not offered.
